Upcoming Conferences and Events
February 3rd, Farringdon, London 6.30-9.30: Showcasing Empathy Week: A festival of film, storytelling and events to help educators develop the skill of empathy in students.
February 27th, Canterbury, UK , Leaders and Advisers Conference, Growing Great Education. I am a keynote speaker alongside Tristram Hooley. Several panel discussions included.
October 10th, National Association for Pastoral Care in Education (NAPCE) national conference. I’m hoping to speak at this, having been thrilled to win the NAPCE Award for Outstanding Contribution to Pastoral Care 2024 and be a finalist for Outstanding International Contribution. Sadly, I was in China when the awards were presented, but look forward to being there next time.

Focusing on resilience as a solution to the mental health crisis risks shifting responsibility for mental health onto those affected, rather than calling out and changing policies and systems contributing to poor mental health.
